Service Desk Administrator

RESPONSIBLE TO: Projects and Compliance Manager

RESPONSIBLE FOR: The chosen candidate will undertake administrative tasks. Strong organisational and administrative skills are required and a methodical and thorough approach will needed to complete the job.



  • Proven experience as a service administrator, office administrator or other relevant role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (including excel and word)
  • Ability to perform to deadlines both for colleagues and customers
  • Preparing and distributing papers and documents for meetings
  • Taking minutes
  • Flexible and able to prioritise a changing to do list
  • Detail oriented and accurate
  • Able to work in a team
  • Managing emails and correspondence
  • Monitoring service operations
  • Tracking office supply inventory and approving supply orders
  • Assists in the preparation of department budgets and expenses
  • Maintains staff confidentiality
  • Coordinating service activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Administer and manage the timesheet process for colleagues
  • Administer and manage the credit card cycle run 


  • Liaising with the team regarding credit card and timesheet details including support with accommodation booking as required.
  • Team engagement throughout ensuring that communication is clear, concise and professional.
  • Support with the preparation of documentation.
  • Support with raising purchase orders (PO’s) and invoices.
  • Filing and maintaining documentation making sure the most up-to-date and relevant information is available to all internal team members.
  • Support team members as required with activities and tasks
  • Filter emails as and when required to the relevant individuals and teams


  • At least 2 years proven experience as an office administrator or support role.
  • Qualifications in administration studies will be an advantage
  • GCSE’s, A-Levels, NVQ or other High school qualifications or a diploma; in office administration or relevant field is preferred
